The 2011 Southern Tier Adult Soccer League (STASL) came to a close in early August, and it was amazing to see what an influence our club has had on the league. The ’Maverick Soccer’ Adult Team ended up winning this year’s STASL title (the highest level of organized amateur adult soccer available in our region) and of the 18-person roster ALL 18 had a direct link to SCSC.

- 13 are current coaching staff at the club

- 10 are former players at the club

- 6 have children in the club (including 3 in our all new U3/4 Starlets program)

It is very pleasing to know that all of the efforts of our parents, players, board members and coaches can have a lasting effect on local soccer.
