SCSC FALL SOCCER DETAILS
Players aged 4-12

REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN!!!!  Still plenty of soccer left to play!!!

Soaring Capital’s Fall Soccer Program will take on a slightly different look this year as we continue to stay current with the trends of youth soccer development.

The 7-week program held at Eldridge Park, running from September 8th thru October 23rd, will be set up as follows:

  • WEDNESDAY 5-6pm (u-5 - u-6 players*)    Cost - $50  (includes training t-shirt)
  • WEDNESDAY 5:30-6:30pm  &  SATURDAY 9:30-11am (u-7 - u-12 players*)    Cost - $75   (includes training t-shirt)

The u-5 and u-6 players will continue to participate in super-fun, ball-familiarity and co-ordination games, followed by 3 v 3 soccer.

The u-7 thru u-12 players will use Wednesday night sessions for repetitive technical practice and assessment, and Saturday’s sessions will be the ever-popular 4 v 4 Street Soccer.

Following the recent World Cup in South Africa, a lot of focus has been placed on improving basic technical ability of America’s youngest soccer players. So much so, that the world’s largest coaching organization, the NSCAA, has teamed up with a company named i-soccer to support a National Standards Project geared towards improving ball mastery. At SCSC we hope to help with this national project, which is why our u-7 thru u-12 players to be following the technical assessment program. For full details of the project, visit www.isoccer.org

When registering, please follow these age-specific guidelines:

- If your child was aged either 4 or 5 on August 1st 2010, please select Fall 2010 Development

- If your child was aged between 6 and 11 on August 1st 2010, please select Fall 2010 Street Soccer

* "u-5 / u-6", etc. is the term used to describe a player’s soccer age. U-5 means ’under-5’ which is anyone aged 4 as of August 1st 2010
